Fairbridge Village, Pinjarra is known for its action-packed adventure camps, heritage-listed holiday destination and accommodation, innovative education programs at its CARE school, and much more. An opportunity for a receptionist has opened within a unique location, nestled in the beautiful heritage village located in the heart of Pinjarra.

About the Position:

  • Manage and coordinate front desk activities & other administrative tasks.
  • Manage check-in and check-out of guests.
  • Maintaining guest accounts.
  • Taking reservations.
  • Answering all calls and transferring calls to appropriate internal staff as required.
  • Assisting with all guest requests.
  • Attend to incoming calls by answering queries and providing outstanding guest service.
  • Issuing of accommodation, venue and vehicle keys.
  • Handling credit cards and cash.
  • Making coffee, serving cafe guests.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the reception/cafe area.
  • Keep other members of front office team informed on guest feedback.
  • Liaising with caretakers to meet client needs.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments such as Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure guest requests are completed efficiently.

The Successful Applicant will Have or Possess:

  • Experience of working within a similar role
  • A passion for service excellence.
  • A confident, vibrant, outgoing, and professional personality with the ability to juggle competing demands.
  • Ability to multitask and complete several tasks at the same time.
  • Excellent communication skills; including both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks to ensure guest requests are completed immediately.
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • A high level of professionalism and ensure policy and procedures are followed.
  • Ability and confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness’ to participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and capabilities to increase the guest experience.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work in other areas of the business where required
