The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for teachers who are:

  • Eager to build meaningful relationships with students, especially those who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from school.
  • Creative in teaching literacy and/or numeracy to students who are academically behind.
  • Interested in trauma-informed practice and techniques (training provided).
  • Flexible in the management and delivery of student support.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Highly Regarded Qualifications

Candidates with the following will be highly regarded:

  • Experience working with students with specific learning disabilities or communication disorders.
  • Capacity to teach across multiple learning areas.
  • LR/MR license and ability to drive a bus.
